I have a bitumen floor within part of my home, which was laid approx. 8 years ago_One bump about half inch in height has appeared on the surface. Any suggestions as to deal with this problem. Thanks.

The bitumen floor is the top surface, which is covered with carpeting just now.

I think what was meant, was what is under the bitumen coating, concrete :?:

I don't know much about flooring, is a "bitumin" floor the same as an asphalt floor? just curious.

Yes, it's the same.

PDA is Propane De-Asphalt is why some people still know it as asphalt. The most common name now is bitumen.

Apologies for delay in response, the bitumen floor is on top of concrete, does this help the matter any?
