has anyone got any tips for me! i want to turn my stopckock off which is under my sink. it is accessible but it won't budge-or hardly anything. i have tried a bit of wd40 on the spinlde and some heat with a blowtorch but still i cannot move it!! any special tools i can get to help me with this problem!? someone mentioned mole grip pliers or something a while back but i'm not sure if that was correct??

I think half the problem will be the packing gland. You need to undo the gland nut and loosen or remove some of the packing material.

If they don't budge i normally leave them. I freeze the pipe and changed the stop cock. I the stop cock breaks and they sometimes do, its panic stations, if you can turn the one off out side do that and change the stop cock.
