Hi,

I have a Zanussi Washer-Dryer ZJD 125
It will spin fine when empty.
However, when there is even just one sock in there, it won't spin. It will spin slowly, but not the fast cycle.
I've taken the back off, and there seems to be no slip in the belt.
If when it's starting to spin (I know this is daft), I help the back of the drum spin by pushing it around, it kind of kick starts it, and it works fine.
However, the next time, it still doesn't do it alone.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

What is more you even admit that you have done it, and that you know you shouldn't do it

I suggest you call a repair engineer.

if the drum was to spin and you are pushing the pulley it will chop your fingers right off, serve you right
