Worcester 24i - intermittent hot water

I have intermittent hot water, it runs for 3 mins hot, then goes cold, then will revert to hot again. the overall effect though is a cold bath!

The pressure was low, so I increased this following good advice on the forum : ) but I still have the same hot / cold water problem. Any advice on what the next thing should be that I try?

When its running hot, would you say its excessivly hot.

The heat hasn't changed at all over the 12 months (it's always been v v hot) it's just the frequency, which has changed in the last month.

Hot water temp sensor possibly.

These boilers are pre set on temp, if temp reaches 70' then burner shuts off till cooled and then reignites if still under demand.

Thanks, seems a sensible one to try. Can you provide instuctions for how to do this? If t answer is check t manual - that's what I'll do.

worth a try but when it doesnt work you will probably find the heat exchanger is crudded up
