Hi
I have be told this unit has 2x 13A plugs attached and was wondering how to supply it.I will be updating the CU to the latest 17th Edition type but not before the bathroom is finished.
Could I supply a 13A double socket behind the cubicle fed via a 45A pull cord/switch outside the bathroom with a 4mm2/6mm2 radial.Using a rccbo in the existing CU ?
I am a qualified electrician but I have not been in the contracting game for some time,I do have a Part P/17th Edition mate who will do all the paperwork/testing for me.
If just changing a shower cubicle for the new one will it need to be notified?

Thanks

Why does it have 2 plugs? Seems like a strange set up.

Do you know the power rating for the unit?

Do you have any cables running under your bathroom floor?

Hi
I was told 1 plug is for the steam generator and the other for all the other electrics(pump/lights etc).
As yet they have not got back to me with loadings but as it had two 13A plugs I was assuming that was the maximum current use.
I am checking about the building regs etc.
The only cable under the floor is for old shower.
