connection of electric cooker

we have just got an electric oven and i was wondering if its easy to connect it, there is a white box with a red switch on it on the wall. Do we just connect the cooker wire to the right terminals in the box

there should be a connection unit further down the wall. usually hidden behind the cooker. its oretty easy to connect, but make sure that the earth is connected.
