Do all boilers of this type leave all that crap in the sump? and block the drain?, I assume they do, but will some educated person explain why???, this has to happen ? thanks, maybe a daft question to you, but, i'm a NEED to know person sometimes.

Generally those boilers that use an ally heat exc are the worst culprits , they are slowly dissolving !

If you go into my pictures you will see an extreme example of flue gas condensate corrosion on a ally heat exc'

Always opt for stainless steel !!

... and weather compensation. It's crazy to fit a condensing boiler without it!
