Help -Gardtec internal speaker keeps beeping since power cut

Hi

I had a power cut about 4 hrs ago, and the gardtec alarm (it came with the house, I've never used it so don't know the code) is unset - 'UN' but the speaker next to it in the hall has been beeping ever since.

I did try to cut the power to it, but after I turned the electric off I realised as I was about to pull the wires that it was still beeping.

I don't know anything about electrical stuff, I don't have a contract for it and I don't have the money for an emergency person. Help??

I just want it to Stop!!!!

Thank you, problem solved. I ripped the **** thing off the wall. I'll call a repair person tomorrow and they can put it back on.... Not the most sensible thing to do, but after nearly 6hrs of listening to it, it was either that or kill something.
