Bosch WFF 2000 washer - The fabric softener is not being washeD IN during the last cycle. There was similar problem with a WFL2450 on 28 Feb05. Does anyone know the solution, or can offer suggestions please.

conditioner is teken in by a 2nd cold fill valve, dicky valve, or its connection most likely

Not sure about your model but some machines have a pivoted jet which aims the water at different sections inside the soap drawer housing. This jet is controlled by a cam on the front of the timer and a linkage from there to the dispenser housing. If there is any adjustment on the linkage you can correct the problem by trial & error.

It's a;ways worth checking the siphon actually works - if it's clogged it wont let the conditioner wash out. If the siphon does work, then see above!

The syphon is mainly to drain the compartment when the rinse has finished filling. The conditioner solution will overflow from the back edge of the conditioner compartment during the rinse.

Further to previous comments the fabric softener uses a separate switch in the cold water supply tothe centre dispenser compartment. Most of the water goes into the drum, buy a small amount goes through a duct in the roof of the centre compartment, and ia normallly ufficient to start the syphon which empties the centre compt. This channel can get blocked with gunge, preventing the siphon working. Unblock with a piece of wire.
