I have a problem with the indicators on my 2003 Peugeot 307 Rapier HDI, both side indicators when turned on are flashing at double speed. I have changed all the bulbs but the problem is still there, there doesn’t appear to be a flasher unit but is incorporated in the indicator / wiper / lights stalk unit. Is this right? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. David.

is it just one side?
i would start by checking the lampholder contacts for signs of corrosion, if these look ok then make sure the wiring is intact too
the indicators are usually controlled by the bsi unit on these models

led bulbs can casue this.

the wifes car does it occasionally on the left. tapping the light housing sorts it out. I really mus look in there for dodgey connections one day soon.

Do all you bulbs flash? rear sides and fronts?

Thanks for the tips, sounds like it maybe an earth or connection problem. Yes there is a trailer socket on the car I will have a look at that as well.
