Remove water staining on spanish patio tiles

Leaking tap caused this damage over a few months.

Tried a product called Agua Fuerte which is a mild acid cleaner but no luck.

Any ideas apart from re-tiling?

What is it exactly? it looks like cement staining. Was this really done by just water?

Are the flags concrete? Perhaps the constant wetness had lifted the colour out of them?

Very unusual looking??

It's just from a dripping tap over a period of 8 months.

Hard water area and limescale I guess.

I've added some new photos.

The tiles are spanish terracotta "Rhondda" type tiles.

that would be perfect but very expensive.

Its hard to advise chemicals wise because they are not something used here much.

I know there are lots of quarry tile cleaning options and they take abuse pretty well, try a specialist tile products place. If you can get the sand-blasting done for a reasonable price that would probably be the way to go.
