15mm/10mm plastic or copper

I AM ABOUT TO START A NEW CENTRAL HEATING INSTALLATION, BUT CANT DECIDE ON PLASTIC/ COPPER 15/10MM. PRICE NOT TO IMPORTANT, TIME IS MORE OF THE ESSCENCE, BUT TROUBLE FREE FUTURE THE MAIN PRIORITY. ANYONE WANT TO ADVISE?

Everyone will give you different advice.
I use 22mm copper from the boiler (28mm if its over 24kw load) then a manifold system using 10mm Hep2o barrier pipe straight to radiators. that way the only joints are at the manifold and rads. keep the pipes close to skirting board above floor level. (be careful about fitting carpet with stanley knife it can cut through the pipe) some people prefer to change on to copper going up to rads. The advantage with 10mm plastic is that you can remove rads from wall without disconnecting if you leave a bit of slack under floor. Be careful regarding length of pipe runs on 10mm if there to long it wont work. :eek:
