icon_question.gif Can hot and cold water pipes be chased into the wall and plastered over? Like ring main cables.

Yes but coat the pipe before plastering with denso tape(available from plumb centre) to stop corrosion, also leak test before coating.

Hot pipes can move about, and crack plaster.
I prefer to put them in 22mm overflow pipe and hold that in the wall with a nail-in pipe clip.
The regs say ducts, with lids.
