Hello there,
I am in the middle of renovating my stairs - freeing up some unusable space from the connecting larder, fixing broken risers and installing a banister. I want the end result to be pretty traditional looking. I want to wall off the area under the stairs but I want one door into it - approx 2 foot wide.
Does anyone know where I can get an angled (and preferably panelled) door that will meet my requirements?
Many thanks in advance, Gary. |

Make it yourself or ask a joiner like me Every one is different (size, going, etc) so there's no such thing as a set pattern.

A simple but effective wat of making a panel look door is out of MDF .Cut the shape of the door out of a sheet of MDF ,then what will be the rails and stiles out MDF glue these onto board already cut YOU can form a moulding on these with a router before you fix them, if you have not got a router you can always buy the moulding of you're choice
YOU could use this method to panel out under the stair case also |
