I have put a chimney pot cover on all the chimneys on my house. The problem I have is that there is still rain water leaking in to the house. Can you recommend any other way of preventing this.

since it is leaking and you have a cover if the cover isnt leaking it must be somewhere else.

you should also never cover a chimney if fire place still there, it causes damp

I had my chimney leaking as well I could hear dropping into metal because I have a back boiler so must have been dripping into some metal got it fix with some new cement around the chimney pot as well as a leaking gutter for £120.

Does it sound right for LONDON E4
