Help with damaged leather furniture?

Hi there

We have stored a leather sofa and it has been pushed up against some large bolts and now have indentations and is also a little scratched.

Does anyone have any top tips on how we could remove the indentations and scratches ourselves?

I have had this happen to me, and I just rubbed some leather moisturising cream into it and left it to settle for a bit. Mine is ok now.

If it's quality hide a very light rub with something waxy like dubbin will darken the scars. Not so much that you soak the leather though.

If it's painted leather there isn't much you can do.
