Im just wondering if its safe to wire the hood to the cooker switch.seeing how its got 2 points to wire to in the switch,L1 and L2,then even if the cooker is switched off the lights and the hood should still function but is this safe?any help appreciated. |

what does this cooker switch look like?
it is OK to do as you say, BUT you MUST fit an ACCESSIBLE 3A FCU in line to the hood. |

yeah done that sorry should've mentioned it thanks for the help just needed to double check i wasnt going to burn my new kitchen down haha.great site this helps us amateur diy folk to keep it safe. |
