I am replacing an old 13 amp. plug-in oven in a fitted kitchen.
The old oven had a removable type plug, and there is a hole drilled just big enough to get the flex through to a socket in the cabinet adjacent to where the oven sits.

The new oven has a sealed plug on it, so do I have to drill a huge hole big enough to get the plug through?? then cover the hole somehow?

thanks in advance for any help.

You might consider cutting the plug off, poking the cable through the hole and fitting a new one.

Doesn't it offer advice in the manual?

[Does anyone ever read these things?]
