OUTSIDE LIGHTS

HOW DO I WIRE AN OUTSIDE LIGHT FROM A SINGLE LIGHT SWITCH TO A DOUBLE. THERE RE 3 RED WIRES GOING INTO L1 AND 1 RED WIRE INTO COMMON. PLEASE HELP. THANKS.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. From what you say it sounds like you might have more than one light running off this switch. Is that the case? What are you then trying to do? Is the outside light already switched by this switch?

I fear you cannot do what you wish. There is usually no neutral at the switch position, and you will need this to feed the new fitting.
