Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II model top loading washer fills but won't start agitating unless the lid is lifted and slammed. I used to just raise and lower the lid and it worked. Now it requires a firmer touch. The washer was purchased 15 months ago, new. Is this easy to fix or should I contact the place I bought it?
