Parkinson Cowan Gas Cooker/ Moffat 500TC

Am I right in thinking that Eletrolux deal with PCowan now, having problems getting to speak to someone, is there anyone who is familar with this model
Serial No.KB 1290 00601. The fault is the oven, if you turn the oven on, after a minute or so, it lights and the burner is lit onlong its length, this flame does not get any bigger, but turning the oven knob does have an effect towards the end when turning off.
Does this mean it is a faulty Solenoid/Flame Supervision Device as shown in the instruction booklet, and how can I confirm this, before getting it repaired

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to carry out repairs yourself, so it would be best to contact a Corgi registered engineer.

Could be a faulty oven thermostat. But if you have the oven door open,and are watching the flame, the burner will not alter much, because it is operating on the room, rather than just the oven.
