Socket on light circuit?
Reply with quote Thanks

Hi,

I have lights in my outside shed and would like to put in a couple of sockets.

Is it possible to add a junction box on a lights circuit and insert sockets? Or do socket and light circuits have to be kept separate?

Many thanks in advance,
Stanman

What size/type cable feeds your shed. What size circuit breaker protects that cable?

sockets and lighting should be seperate circuits but you could get away with it (see secure's questions). i wouldnt recommend it though.
