Alarm keypad not working

Hi,
I have an A1 wired alarm system. The keypad stopped working last week. I was told it may need a new battery so yesterday I turned the elecricity off while I removed the battery. The electric was off for a couple of hours. When I turned the electricity back on the alarm went off. Obviously I couldnt turn it off as the keypad isn't working so I pulled the fuse.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What "went off"?

What leds are showing at the panel?

Have you got 240V at the panel?

Have you got 14.8V (approx!) leaving the battery?

Is it an AJ600? Omnicron 7000 or 9000?

Does it have an NVM?

If you disconnect mains & battery, does it revert to factory set conditions?
