sludge in radiators

Is there a DIY way of removing sludge from radiators or is it a problem for the professionals?

It depends how bad the sludging is, there are products you can add to the system to loosen the sludge and then you flush out your system, rembering to add a corrosion inhibitor when you refil so that you don't have the same problem again.
