Hi im changing a window in my house into French doors. They are 1500mm wide so will easily take it.

I need to cut down and take out the wall below the current windows. Will a 9" angle grinder do the job or is it better if I hired a larger Disc cutter.

When it comes to hiring tools id rather buy my own and keep!!!

Thanks

Hi,

Always used a 9" grinder for this.

Loads of dust if you are going to use the grinder inside as well.

I always cut the outside first, then take out the window then use battens and plastic sheet to make a false wall inside the room + a bit of masking tape and most of the dust should now go outside :)
