Would you like to see Avatars introduced to this Forum?

Don't mind them but can we have the option in our profile to turn off all Avatars so that if we have a hangover we don't have to have the flash ones on view.

you can do it from your first post, put a title like "Do you want Avatars introduced to the forum?"
then fill in the options below YES NO and then submit
 
On the poll options do I just seperate Yes and no with a space?

Avatars are for adoloscent boys and girls trying to impress each other, and are therefore absolutely no guide to the persons character. They look untidy and distract from the message.

If people want to put up a REAL photo of themselves fine, I'll start.

This site is not bland or boring it is neatly laid out, well indexed and easily navigated

Noooooooooooo. I'd only block the images anyway.
 
a good suggestion above was to allow them but also allow those that dont want them to switch them off, seems ok to me

As long as there were avatar rules, ie. size and no .gifs then it would bring a little more colour to the forum.

Avatars can be activated by the admin staff by one click as they are already built in to the forum, just not switched on.
 
It's never gonna happen.

Absolutely no acknowledgment from a Mod or Site admin.

I wished I hadn't bothered wearing out my fingertips posting this thread, let alone wasting my time to add a Poll. :LOL:
