Straight roads, works of art, Ducati and Ferrari. also real world transport ie; aprilia and fiat, not to forget sophia loren and central heating.

Talking of which mention the name biasi to a c.h. fitter and guaranteed he'll pull a face.
I fitted a 28s about 10 years ago and it has broken down twice, the first time the air pressure switch tube had a bit of condensation in it, that took all of 5mins to sort, then a few years ago the diaphram went, that took about 10mins and cost less than 20 fags. also found them very helpful when i've phoned their helpline

Today i phoned ideal, that was a waste of time, the problem being no hot water with an unvented tank.
I've spoken to three different gas safe fitters two of which assured me that combi boilers dont have tanks.

HELP

what your question ? and could you give a bit more information I am guessing you got an unvented cylinder running off a combi but other than that :?:

its an ideal combi with a unvented tank, the c.h. works fine, i tried fitting a new programer but the h.w. only runs for about 3mins and then shuts down, i'm thinking it must be a circulation fault but do not know how the water is pumped through the system.

what model? ideal ......... istor by any chance? its like a game of hangman!

could do with better description of fault/symptoms also

Lancia cars , they have not yet fully recovered from these rust buckets that were dumped into the market in the 80's ( I think )

the boiler is an ideal icos he12 and this is conected to an imersion tank the system is unvented, george wimpey is responsible for this system, its about 4yrs old now. n.b. there is nothing wrong with a good lancia intergrala

Pizza's and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Romans, a fair few Pope's and Silvio Berlusconi, a rampant, dirty old man, laughed and sniggered at, the world over for his infamous "Bunga Bunga" parties

Your first post mentioned a Biasi 28S. Now it has become an Ideal HE boiler.

You seem to expect to repair your own boilers even though you obviously dont have enough knowledge to even realise that a combi can perfectly well be used with an unvented cylinder.

My advice would be to employ an engineer who knows what he is doing!

Yeah yeah Tony, whatever, now back to the original question - Lambretta motor scooters - now your talking!

sorry to 45yrsagasman if i appear patronising i dont mean to, its just very frustrating, my lodgers without hot water, my regular gas fitter is not conversant with this system, maybe there is a fitter out there who has worked for mr wimpey or similar could jump in here and better describe the set up for me please

agile! now you look like a learned fitter who knows what he's talking about, please enlighten us how the water gets pumped around the system to heat the tank situated 5metres away, also what qualified engineer do i want gas or electric, obviously my time spent keeping vulcans and lightnings airbourne as an aircraft mechanic propulsion is of little value here. PS sorry on the main title 'what have the italians given us' i forgot to mention 'THE GOAT' greatest of all time VALENTINO ROSSI

HELP

But the Icos isn't a combi boiler, it's a system boiler... It is however a Condensing boiler..

No hot water? have a look at your motorised valves... And sack your gas fitter, hire someone who knows what he's on...

The Doctor is an ugly little sh1t but the greeboes like him and I have had far too much Scotch
