Zion and the Art of Armageddon

I reckon they 'calculated' that their muslim 'brothers' would immediately come to their aid and attack Israel big time.

Guess again.

I've seen some written opinions saying that it's because they think the Palestinians are more trouble than they're worth!

I'd ask for your sources but we both know you got nuthin'.

I don't know whether what I think their 'calculation' was is correct or not. But then, neither do you

I can't remember where I read it as it was quite a while ago but, again, that doesn't mean that I made it up.

Or that it exists.

It does. I've found a couple of articles, one of which I must've read, to support what I said.

Granted that the Arab countries didn't use the exact phrase that "the Palestinians are more trouble than they're worth" but that's what they meant.

Using right wing Zionist supporters to prove a point is like using Nazis to prove that jews deserved the treatment they got from Hitler.

It doesn't say that at all - from the link:

Jordan's King Abdullah II gave a similar message, as he said, "No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt." [The)Jordanian King also warned "against any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from all Palestinian territories or cause their internal displacement," calling for preventing a spillover of the crisis into neighbouring countries and the exacerbation of the refugee issue.

In other words, he was warning Israel not to widen the war in Gaza and cause a large scale refugee crisis. The Arab nations would prefer the state of Israel to heed Interntional law and stop building illegal settlements on the West Bank.

"Israel is poised to launch a ground operation in the city of Rafah on Gaza’s border with Egypt, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees have fled in the four months since Israel began retaliating for the Hamas attack on Oct. 7, 2023. Some members of Israel’s conservative government are now openly advancing the idea of expelling the Palestinian population from Gaza altogether.

If that were to happen, they would have nowhere in the Arab world to go, says former U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker. Despite public support for Palestinian rights, in truth nearly every Arab state has long viewed the Palestinians with “fear and loathing,” Crocker says. This is especially true of Egypt, which will continue to refuse to admit Palestinians from across the border, he says."

Looks like Assad could have a problem

Russians are stretched militarily

The mad mullers / Hezbollah are weakened (?)

Perhaps Isreal will take advantage ??

Yes, because they don't want to end up with a refugee camp in their territory that turns into a permanant settlement as it has in Jordan. While Netanyahu remains in power there is no justice, and there will be no peace.

There fellow Arab countries / brothers (?) don’t want the Palistinians ;)

They never did or have

No surprise tbh

On November 24, The Washington Post’s editorial board published a piece in which it laid out its views on the arrest warrants for Israeli officials recently issued by the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Abdelghany Sayad, a reseaarcher in international law at Kent Law School, writes a lengthy examination of those views @ Al Jazeera.

It has far too many words for mbk to take in all at once, but the gist of it is Israel will wriggle out of any responsibility for their war crimes...

Human Rights Watch, for example, has documented Israel’s failure to prosecute war crimes as far back as the 2014 war on Gaza, the second Intifada, the first Intifada and even the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982, after which the Israeli government created the Kahan Commission to cover up then-Defence Minister Ariel Sharon’s responsibility for the Sabra and Shatila massacre.

Again.

*the latest death toll in Gaza is just short of 45,000 - Netanyahu must be gutted he couldn't reach 50k by Hannukah

Or the next war criminal 'elected' into power on the wish of extremist terrorists..

Or the next...

Or the next...

Syria is erupting again and the zionists will no doubt add their firepower to the mix...

There will be no peace until the Palestinians are allowed to live in peace in their own country...

And in return the moderate people in israel deserve the same right...

Terrorists and war criminals should be rooted out and prosecuted wherever they exist!

Assad in Syria has used chemical weapons on his own people over 200 times
Plus
Thousands of barrel bombs

With Russian help

Most if his fighting force / army are foreigners
Supplied by the mad mullers in Tehran and there proxy terrorist group in Lebanon

The UK parliament voted against taking action against Assad and his use of chemical weapons ;)
