It's time to pull up the foreign aid drawbridge, perhaps staggered over say five years, advising recipient countries they'll need to fend for themselves. It'll be the nudge they need to pull their socks up and start improving their own lot and that of their citizens. If they choose not to, it's on them.

Don't fret, the only reason they're losing it, like the Democrats in the states, is cause they a) didn't expect Trump to win b) didn't expect any win to be as dramatic in terms of numbers etc c) didn't expect such a positive, proactive start to his term.

I get USAID had to be downsized but are all the government workers across the board, going to be replaced by machines? People do need jobs.

Trump has ended affordable care act…..that’s making lives of Americans worse
Trump has ended forcing down prescription med prices….so they will go up thus making lives of ordinary American citizens worse
Trump has started a trade war…..that puts up prices….making lives of ordinary citizens worse
Trump is ramping up deportations of undocumented migrants, who make up 5% of USAs workforce…..causing shortages of farmer workers, cleaners, care workers…..without them American lives will be worse

Yeah, it’s a real shame, especially as those undocumented workers are paid a fair wage, given free healthcare, comfortable lodgings and workers rights. Oh, wait, no they’re not, are they?
