Yesterday, I think I may have confused you somewhat. You were correct when you said that almost all Christians believe that Jesus was God, as well as him being the son of God. Jesus is sometimes referred to as God Incarnate, which means God made flesh. I was trying to make things simple, but ended up confusing it more. It is often a very tricky concept. For instance, at times in the Bible Jesus prayed to God, even though he actually is God himself. At those times he was praying to God, his Father, in heaven. And then there is the third part of the "Holy Trinity", called either the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost. So a Christian minister might say words such as "Let us pray to Almighty God, the Three in One, Father, Son and Holy Ghost"

I abandoned religion as a teenager but still tend to think of myself as a Christian for some strange reason, the Ten Commandments are a reasonable code for life in my opinion.

I've never killed anyone, the other nine commandments, well, it's a bit sketchy, but that doesn't make me a bad person.
