Are the border force and the RNLI losing their touch?

We need to be concerned about young men of military age….

When the boat invaders first hit the news there was no lifeboat rescue. The raiders simply ran in all directions as soon as the boat hit the shore, and disappeared into the hinterland. Who is to say that is not still happening and that the RNLI don't intercept them all?

True. Could also be that the incentives the govenment gives them to encourage then to come here are now too great to pass up. Possibly they weren't housed in 4* luxury years ago with 3 buffet meals a day, free money, on site doctors and dentists, free phones, free bikes, cash on the side from illegal food delivery jobs, etc, etc, etc. Plus safe passage into the country. No wonder they surrender at the first opportunity. They can't believe their tax payer funded luck. Sounds so good I might get some for myself.

Which is why government should have invested heavily in more patrols, both sea and land, with drone support.

I'm not sure if such things were suggested and blocked, or not suggested at all.

We should have thrown a few billion at this. However, leaving boats to sink as part of a strategy? Nah.

Sorry, not true either, the vast majority go elsewhere, Good discussion though.
