I was asked to do the stone-work on a mates porch he had had built.He had also picked the stone!! (not enough)<br>The porch was cavity block but as you can see the outer skin was only up to dpc,The cavity had kingspan in it and as you can also see the cill was wedged up to keep it sturdy.So I had to make the best of a bad job.I built the one side and a few course's of the other side and ran out of larger stone but at the moment I cant get access to the quarry to get more.(Private) so hoping to get back to it when I can get some more stone!!!
