Thank you - very helpful. Just to be clear, there is a red wire which leads to the Hot Water COM terminal (see photo - which must be permanently live as there is also a link to that terminal from the Heating COM terminal which is in turn is linked to the Live terminal). What do I do with this...

I have a Honeywell ST699 programmer with Y Plan system. I would like to clarify the wiring arrangements for each terminal on the Hive receiver. Advice would be appreciated please. On my arrangement the Live feed to the programmer is linked to Commons on Heating and HW.
