I got the answer I was looking for. Both single and 3-phase sockets are 32A and so is the breaker. So I shall go ahead with daisy chaining this additional single phase socket. Thanks Az

Is there any restriction on daisy chaining a single phase commando socket from a 3-phase commando socket. I know it's common to daisy chain multiple sockets of the same phase...but I am not sure about mixing single and 3-phase. (The breaker and cable size is sufficient to allow this)...Thanks

Can anyone advise on how to calculate the load current for 15 high frequency tube lights (116W / each fitting)...all on one circuit. Normally it would be: I= Power/Voltage. But for dicharge lamps I think there is a multiplication factor (not the power factor..some other) ...can anyone show...

Can any one shed some light on what type of fire alarm/panel would be needed for a 270 sq.m retail food shop. How many sensors would I need, and what type ionisation/optical ? Is there some regulation about what size a shop needs to be before you need too install a fire alarm system ??
