Does that mean that sealant is unlikely to work?? I'm not a plumber, so I dunno... Which is why I asked the question :)

On the back of my toilet is a straight push fit soil pipe connector to the waste pipe in the wall. It started to drip water at the joint between the toilet bowl and the connector. I've pushed the connector off and back on again and also I've rotated to connector thru 180 degrees by spinning...
