My FF 260 is 13 years old and has just started to do the same thing. Thanks to Les I'm going to try replacing the bearing first, in case that works. If I have to replace the fan after all, should I fit new gasket 'rope' to the exhaust collector on top of the heat exchanger while I'm at it...
