They are from John Lewis and look exactly the same as these but polished brass and not brushed brass.

Those 2 links to switches are no good as the switches I am looking for are all brass. So the actual switch has to be brass too. I'll try a few shops today to see what I can find.
One more quick question. Its seem difficult to find a 20A DP in polished brass without neon. Would I be able to buy the neon one and use it without the neon? Would the wiring be a straight swap or are the neon switch plates different to the plates without neon?
Yes thats what I thought, but the problem is the range of switches I bought do not have a DP 20A switch in their range :(
Are there any alternative switches I could use?
On the front it just looks like a normal light switch with no writing on it. On the back it says 250v 20A and there is an arrow that points both ways between L2 and N2 that says LOAD.
Those L N and E go straight into the ceiling once the plate is removed. So theres nothing under the plate. I assume the wires join straight to the switch but I can't understand where all the other wires have come from on the switch.
