i was thinking 1/2 inch ply so that might work
will the insulation suffer by being under compression?
i`m guessing the ply would spread the load

i`ve done breakdowns for warmfront and i fixed peoples own boilers up to a limit of £250 which would cover more or less anything to a bbu
