    Yes, it is mostly old smoothing compound. There is a section with old and thin plastic tiles, some are loose and i am removing them.

    Thanks for the reply! At the junction between the two floors there is no difference, since the concrete floor is sloped, and the slope is about 1 cm over a couple of meters. Then there are these gaps where the self leveling compound was poured... Each gap is not more than 2 or 3 millimeters but...
