    Builders snagging list

Thanks for the reply. I went round with one of the building companies representative upon completion, nothing major found then. The contract states they give us another 2 years to fill in a defect sheet and pass it to them to deal with. In comparison to other houses on the estate, we have got...

    Builders snagging list

Hi folks Just a quick query for ya. My girlfriend and I bought a newbuild in June 2007, we have 2 years to get the snagging list sorted for the builders, so I thought after 12 months (long enough for any defects to occur) I'd hand a list to the builders. Now, how long (legally) have they got...

Worcester greenstar 28i junior - No Hot water

Ensure all air is vented from the heat ex via the rubber hose, turn the boiler off then on again via the control panel and see if the diverter valve motor moves. If the DV motor moves up and down ok then it's probably the turbine (as has been said). Hope this helps. Al

    Dog problem

Good point about enabling view, we're at the front of the estate next to the entrance. Was thinking of a short/small hedge, but I know the soil is quite shallow near the boundary due to the edging curb and 3 tonne of concrete the groundworkers used to sink them in. What hedge/shrub/bush would be...

    Dog problem

It's marked on our plans, house is less than a year old. Would love to know why they built the wall 3 foot from the pavement leaving a grassed area infront. Don't get me wrong, I'm a dog lover but it just looks so tatty and patchy now.

    Dog problem

Hi Just after a little advice please. At the front of our house we have our front lawn, a stone wall then a 3 foot grassed area then the pavement, the grass is looking pretty ropey, mainly due to dogs urinating etc and people taking the short cut (hardly worth it). Is there anyway/any...

    Britony water heaters

Cheers guys, it was the morons in local Plumbase/Time & Temperature, they couldn't identify the part or even the correct water heater, even with the GC number. Totally confused and worried the customer. Al

Just after some info, well part number for my GF 106 exhaust. It's the front pipe, from the manifold to the centre pipe. The section with the sensor. Any ideas where to get it, cheaply? Cheers in advance Al

    Worcester

Saturdays don't bother me, been told 1 in 4 during summer time and 1 in 2 during winter, totalling 19 over the year. And I have covered most of the county of Cornwall self employed doing over a 1000 miles a week, so travel is not a problem. Just be glad to be employed again :)
