5 to 1 if there was a wire in 5
There probably won't be a wire in 3 on the 4033 you shouldn't need a wire in 2 on the Hive.
There was probably a link between 1 and L this can be discarded.

ok fair enough you are the experts i'm new to this really as just moved into my own house. im sure i checked the water and it did the same thing but ill recheck again after work.
The timer/programmer...or hive call it rhe reciever unit. Na same thing you can just hear the pump working. Sorry i know it is confusing im confused.fish o_O

I hope someone can help me i have recently bought a hive timer and thermostat and decided to try and replace the randal 4033 timer myself as it sounded pretty simple swapping over wires. I followed a wiring diagram off here off a previous post but i think ive gone wrong...
