thanks for the quick reply Chris but i do not think its the gas valve sticking you can hear the solinoid crack on the start up procedure and when the pilot does eventually light you get a large flame across the burnner which is showing their is gas there

I have a Potterton Neat Hear 10-16 boiler, when the boiler is cool it starts fires up perfectly, gets up to temperature and then cuts out like it should and then fires back up as it should. The problem is after its been running for an hour or so it takes forever to establish a pilot light, you...
