    yeh the guy who mentioned the pipe size mentioned thermostat rads and the vallient condensing boiler that he would fit. He also said the pipe may be 22mm to the boiler but the final peice was 15mm. he outlined that digin up the bathroom floor in an attempt to find the pipe would be the best...

    Ive literally just had another CORGI guy come take a look to give me a quote and he didnt even mention it?? I dont understand how two apparently CORGI guys would have different opinions? is there no way round this 22mm rule??

    Thanks anyway. Had another CORGI guy come give us a quote and he outlined we would need to rip the floor up from the gas meter to the boiler as the pipe is currently 15mm and needs to be 22mm. He said the pipe would need to be 22mm from the meter to with in a couple of metres of the boiler...

    Had a CORGI engineer out and he could not find the fault. It seems the previous owner had had a bodge job done and has played around with the system. Am going to buy a new one. Any recommendations??

    Have tried 'jiggling' it around but to no avail. Its stopped working completly now and just tries to ignite but doesnt and then locks out!!! I think im gonna have to buy a new one!!!

    The boiler is now working intermittantly!! When you demand water it ignites occasionally but only stays on for 2-3 minutes before cutting out again. It tries to ignite again but it does not light and locks out!!! Once i have reset it it may work the next time you demand water or it locks...
