Thanks breezer I am an electronics engineer with a PHD but not in washing machines. Can carry out any electrical mesurements, remove and even fix board if chips are OK So high level technical help no problem.

My WMA 64 washing machine is 4 years old. The problem I have are: Machine makes a loud banging noise during spinning. The drum does not turn. So opened top and first found that the top counterweight block was loose ( 4 bolts loose) - tightened. Tried in spin programme - sounds like pump...
