Felting over the battens would be a lot easier. It just seems a bit “bodged” to me. You going over the counter battens would be ok? would you pull the membrane right or let it drape between counter battens?
would you just cut the klober above eaves trays?
Looks like we are are gonna remove the counter battens and lay a layer of Klober permo extreme membrane - sealing joints and using butyl tape to seal any nail holes. Then counter batten & batten as normal…
That looks like it would solve the issue. And would save removing and and getting new tiles delivered.
We would need 5 rolls of the stuff though - costing an extra £2000!
Have you ever laid tiles at a lower pitch than recommended, without the extra membrane, and been ok?
