UFH added to exisiting Y Plan system - advice needed

Some further progress with diagnostics. Flow pipe to the mixer reads within 1-2c of the flow pipe from the boiler, normally in the 62-64c range. Pump is circulating in the UFH system, flow rates generally 1.5-2 L/min on the gauges The mixer is numbered 1-6, according to the manual 1 = 20c, 6 =...

At least 1 thing is! Flow rates should be around 2l/min from what I have read and been told? Just the mixing valve and flow temperature problem to resolve now!

Roughly 50-60m each if I remember correctly

Agree, and I am telling him he needs to come back and sort this out, I was looking for opinions on what the issue is so I don’t get fobbed off with excuses. The kit is made by Essco using ESBE mixer and Wilo pump

This is the manifold, out of shot is the 2 port valve which is on the flow pipe just before the thermostatic mixing valve (sorry, IMG tags don't appear to be working!) - ManifoldPumpMixer by AMR1 posted 23 Dec 2020 at 3:49 PM There is a temperature gauge on the manifold after the blending...

UFH added to exisiting Y Plan system - advice needed

This is my concern that he doesn't know what he's doing and we've been left with 1/2 a job but paid for a full job. The radiators and DWH are controlled by a separate Nest thermostat and Heat link. Moving to S-Plan would solve one problem at least! The flow pipe coming into the UFH is hot, I...

Apologies, I'm not an expert on any of this - my plumber has left me high and dry on this so trying my best to figure out what could be going on. For clarification - the UFH feed comes before the main system pump, UFH has a 2 way valve; followed by a thermostatic mixer, pump, manifold running...

No actuators as it’s two loops in a single room. Basically for the UFH we have a 2 port, then mixer, pump, and manifold. This is all connected to a Nest thermostat which controls the UFH

the UFH does have a 2 port valve on it, manifold also has a pump and thermostatic mixer. Flow temps never get above 25-30c, regardless of the mixer settings. Our radiators also get hot when the UFH comes on, hence my thinking this should have been converted to S Plan when being fitted
