Just to report back that I managed to replaced the PIR by only removing the mains power and the Aux fuse. Aux fuse kills the power to all the sensors and keypads when removed. I kept the battery connected to stop the bell box from going off

Hi, okay this makes sense, with the battery connected the shorting could blow the fuse. I have already prepared myself with 10 extra spare fuses in the event that I short & blow the AUX fuses.
