Yes, the cost is adding up.

Now I find the gun I have for applying the super sealant I have bought is not man enough to apply this super gooey sealant - it won't squeeze out of the nozzle - so I have now gone for a mid-range sealant that hopefully will last longer than six months!

Guilty of all the above - however my previous sealant withstood plenty of damp for years. Hopefully the one I have just ordered will do the same.

Thanks. So it is down to a duff sealant. I have checked the threads below and ordered a Dow Corning 7815.

I am baffled as to why some sealant I applied in the bathroom and kitchen has become discoloured so quickly. More bizarrely, half of the sealant is till pristine and white and the other half has turned brown ( (see attached pic). The container specifies that it is bathroom sealant so that...
