    load bearing wall removal, can existing wooden beam stay or do I need RSJ?

    I want to knock down the remaining kitchen wall. There is a wooden beam the spans the whole length of the kitchen. am I ok to remove the remaining wall or does the wooden bean need replacing with a steel RSJ? Thanks in advance for you support :)
