[color=darkblue][b]Hairline cracks in walls keep returning after a few months, i have filled them with polyfiller etc. The house is five years old and i thought this is long enough for the house to settle but the fine cracks come back in the same places. What filler should i use ?[/b /color] :?:
sorry. the pipe from the pump goes up to the sink upstairs and this gadget is parallel about 500mm up from the pump. i will get better pictures tonight !
In that case, why do you think that the pump was running and yet water was not coming out?
I could hear it running ok downstairs, but no water was coming out, i pulled the string pull to activate the pump for quite a while, you used to be able to turn on tap, pull the cord for a short time...
2. How long have you had the new pump, and how much time has it spent with an air lock?
3. Did you install it in exact accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (leaving aside the mistake with the flange connection)?
I'm not even sure its had an airlock, it seems to pump upstairs...
Hi, The pump is about 100mm above the top of cylinder. It was already there when she purchased the house, so no instructions. it was working ok before i changed the cylinder.
